32 Flags is hiring new writers

32 Flags is looking to hire some fantastic freelance writers to cover various soccer leagues and events happening all around the world. Content can range from writing opinion articles to previews and recaps of games, breaking news stories and posting videos of impactful moments in big games just to name a few types. These are paid positions based on how many posts you write.

Ideal candidates must possess the following:

– Soccer writing experience

– Knowledge of soccer leagues as well as teams and players in those leagues. EPL and top European soccer teams in Champions League as well as international teams and players (ex. USMNT, USWNT and other nations) is required. Knowledge of other leagues (ex. Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Liga MX, MLS among others) is a bonus but not required.

– Availability to cover some games and be able to have access to watch those games live. You do not need to be available 24/7 because that is unrealistic but ideally be able to have at least some availability to cover during peak game times (weekend mornings, weekday afternoons)

– Social media experience (Facebook and Twitter required, any other social media platform knowledge is a bonus but not required)

– Ability to self edit your work

– Ability to multitask

– Ability to be able to come up with article ideas on a weekly basis

If you meet the requirements and feel like you would be a good fit to work with us, please send an email to 32flags@gmail.com with the following:

– A little about yourself

– Leagues in which you are knowledgeable about and would be interested in covering

– Prior experience writing about soccer (sites where you have written before, what you wrote about)

– Three links of things you have written in the past.
