Oh You Beauty!: Goals of the Week 5/5/2015

5. Philippe Coutinho vs QPR

Coutinho just can’t stop scoring nice goals. It’s almost like he’s allergic to easy ones. Coutinho receives the ball from a well-weighted pass from Rickie Lambert and curls it into the net.

4. Alexis Sanchez vs Hull

The fact that it takes a slight deflection doesn’t matter too much, since it doesn’t alter the path of the ball much. This is a well taken free kick goal and was well placed. Okay, the fact that it was slightly deflected matters a little, it’s why it’s not a bit higher. Still, though, solid goal.

3. Sergio Aguero vs Tottenham

Sergio Aguero is one of my favorite strikers in the game. Majestic is the perfect word to describe him. If he was able to stay fit a whole season, he would have given Suarez a run for his money last season in goal tallies. This is just the perfect example of what he can do. Aguero makes a beautiful run on to a through ball from David Silva. Hugo Lloris’ positioning would be enough to stop most strikers, but Aguero opts to blast a shot near post. No keeper in the world would stop that shot.

2. Jaume Costa vs Deportivo

An outside of the foot, outside of the box, volleyed goal? Yeah, you bet that’d be on this list.

1. Sebastian Polter vs 1860 Munchen

I can’t get enough of this goal. Without jumping too far into hyperbole, this goal melts my brain it is so good. This goal is so brilliant it has three masters degrees and a PhD in Theoretical Physics. So yeah, no hyperbole.
