VIDEO: Barcelona somehow doesn’t score from this free kick

In the 23rd minute of Barcelona’s La Liga contest with Sevilla Saturday, the Catalans won a free kick from a dangerous area. Neymar stepped up to the ball with a chance to give Barcalona an early lead.

What happened next though is truly a sight to behold as Neymar struck a beautiful free kick, that did just about everything but go in the net.

Neymar’s shot went just beyond the reach of Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico, and right onto the post where it then rolled right along the entire length of the goal line without ever crossing into the goal. Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez were there to try and hammer home the rebound but were somehow denied as well.

There’s really no description that could do this play justice, so just take a look for yourself.

Barcelona sure could have used that goal as they ended up falling 2-1 on the afternoon.
