VIDEO: Craig Gardner from deep puts West Brom up 2-0 on Crystal Palace

When West Brom took their corner kick, Craig Gardner was on the halfway line. Five seconds later, he ran up and buried an absolute perfect strike from deep and all but cemented the win against the hot EPL team of the present Crystal Palace.

The run up, the power and the path that ball took made this an absolute beaut. I was convinced Gardner was going to strike it off a single touch like what most people would do and most of the time go wildly into the crowd, but he had the awareness to take another touch and get himself prepared for the shot. That made all the difference and Craig Gadrner has a goal for the highlight reel.
