VIDEO: Eden Hazard’s first half goal may clinch EPL title for Chelsea

Chelsea can clinch the EPL title with a win against Crystal Palace. This Eden Hazard goal may clinch that.

Hazard won the penalty near the end of the first half. Yeah, there’s no contact on the play but James McArthur shouldn’t have his leg out that far and Hazard is trying to not get hurt. McArthur is still not playing the ball and impeding Hazard’s progress to the goal so yeah, it was the right call.

As you can see on the video, Hazard took a rather terrible PK (first missed PK in EPL career) but he at least was able to get the “second bite of the cherry” to borrow Arlo White’s phrase and headed the rebound home to possible EPL title glory. Hazard made no bones about his terrible PK based on his reaction.
