VIDEO: Harry Kane finds his scoring touch, scores against own team

Harry Kane, coming off his fantastic freshman season, has been struggling to find his scoring touch as of late. This is usually the norm with a young striker as the pressure mounts on the player to replicate their marvelous first season and more strategy is applied to contain the player.

So far Kane has only scored one goal in eight games in the Premier League and people are wondering if Kane’s magic has disappeared. However, in Spurs’ game against Swansea, Kane managed to score a goal. But, unfortunately for Spurs’ and their fans, he ended up scoring against his own team.

Swansea was setting up from the corner to take the kick and Jonjo Shelvey crossed the ball into the Spurs’ box. The first person to get a touch on it was Harry Kane and as he attempted to clear the ball from the zone, he ended up scoring a pretty amazing own goal.

Take a look for yourselves:

An unlucky turn of events for the young Englishman and with people sarcastically tweeting “Harry Kane proving his goalscoring abilities ahead of the international break” and “Top finish from Harry Kane”, you have to feel for the youngster and hope he finds his scoring touch (into the right net, of course) soon.
