It was a day full of retaliation today. First, Nemanja Matic went off on Ashley Barnes after getting tackled. Granted, Matic had every reason to be upset because it looked bad and he could’ve had his leg broken but two wrongs don’t make a right and he received red.

Now, in the Conference North division (the sixth level of English soccer), we get more of the same. Worcester City’s Shabir Kahn gets dangerously tackled by Stockport County’s Richie Baker. In retaliation, Kahn bodyslams him with enough force that would make Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman proud. It was sold so well that #11 from Worcester City reacted like the referee in a wrestling match. Although I think #11 was just worried that Kahn would be seeing red as well.
