Video: Willian scores on sensational free kick

It’s no secret that Chelsea have gotten off to a poor start this season. After dropping points to lowly Newcastle a week ago and following that up with a midweek loss to Porto in the Champions League, tensions were high going into their weekend match with Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

An early goal would do a lot to take some of the pressure off of the Blues and their fans, who desperately need a win to get themselves back into the title race.

Luckily for Chelsea they have Willian, and after winning an early free kick, Willian stepped in to ease everyones fears.

It’s Willian’s fourth straight match where he’s scored on a free kick.
