VIDEO: Xabi Alonso’s GOALAZO levels it with Man City

Manchester City had it all going for them. Playing at home, Aguero putting his team up 1-0 on a penalty kick and Bayern Munich being down to 10 men. Someone forgot to tell Pep Guardiola’s Munich side thought.

Instead of packing it in and hoping to escape with a late point, his side went on the attack and it paid off in a big way. Former Liverpool and Barcelona star Xabi Alonso stood over a late free kick just outside the box and bent it like Beckham, only putting it just inches off the ground.

Bayern weren’t done with that goal either, as Robert Lewandowski would put the 10-man Bayern side up 2-1 on Manchester City just before the half.
