The BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells is in full swing this week. This weekend will feature the end of a hard fought tournament in Indian Wells, California. Friday’s session kicks off with the men’s quarterfinals, featuring Nadal and Federer in separate matches aiming to move on in the tournament. Two players have already solidified spots in the semifinals.

The pride of Great Britain, Andy Murray, topped Feliciano Lopez in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. The match took just over an hour and a half and Murray dominated most major categories. Murray won 70% of his second serves, compared to Lopez’s 47%.  Murray also reached a milestone in his career. The Brit overtook Tim Henman for the most wins of any British player during the Open era. This is Williams’ first appearance at Indian Wells in 14 years, and she will square off against Simona Halep in the semifinals. Williams started slow in the first set, and then dominated the rest of the match with powerful, well-placed shots.

Friday’s day session is going for an average price of $289.00 on the secondary market. Fans are getting into the arena for as low as $103.00 on the secondary market. Friday’s night session, the cheapest session of the weekend, is going for an average price of $274.35 on the resale market. These matches sees a significant decrease in minimum prices. Tickets are going for as low as $59 on the secondary market, which reflects a four percent increase in the past seven days.
