The NBA season is a couple of months old and pretty soon there will probably be some coaches who will be losing their jobs. Those changes will play a huge role in how we research our Free NBA Predictions as a possible coaching change will stir up the organization. There are some teams who are really struggling and owners will probably get frustrated and make some changes. Let’s look at some of the coaches who could be getting the pink slip soon.
David Fizdale – Knicks
This one might seem too obvious, but it’s pretty clear that David Fizdale is not the long term option going forward for the Knicks. There isn’t a whole lot of talent on the roster, but he also isn’t helping improve the players that are on the roster. The Knicks only have four wins, and they should have a high draft pick again next season. It might only be a couple of weeks before Fizdale is given his pink slip and run out of the Big Apple.
Scott Brooks – Wizards
Washington Wizards coach Scott Brooks hasn’t lived up to the expectations put on him when he came over from Oklahoma City but some of that isn’t his fault. John Wall is out for the season and everyone knew that with a young team they would probably have issues making the playoffs. If he wants to keep his job, those young guys need to start leading the Wizards to some wins.
Brett Brown – 76ers
The 76ers currently have a 15-6 record and they will no doubt make the playoffs, but if the 76ers go through a lull where they struggle, don’t be surprised to see Brown get canned. The 76ers were bounced early last year from the playoffs and at some point, this team needs to start winning in the postseason. If the management doesn’t think that Brown will do that, the team could move on from him. It’s still hard to imagine the team would move on from him during the regular season but then again it’s the 76ers so anything could happen.
