Week 9 of the college football season is here and there are some good college football expert picks for this weekends games. Outside of betting there are also some really good storylines that everyone needs to pay close attention to.
Will Ohio State continue to roll?
The Ohio State Buckeyes have dominated every team in their way so far this year, but this is their biggest test of the season. Don’t let the Badgers’ loss last weekend against the Fighting Illini fool you, this is a very good squad and we are going to learn a lot about the Buckeyes.
So how good are the Buckeyes really? Will they run up the score like they have against everyone or is this a place they slip up? Come Saturday afternoon we should know if this team can win a National title.
Will the Golden Gophers get caught looking ahead?
The Golden Gophers have a path to win the Big Ten West (especially with a Badgers loss on Saturday) but the one thing they can’t happen is get caught looking ahead. They currently sit with an undefeated record and a game against the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday.
After the Terrapins they have games against Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin and a game against Northwestern too.
This should be an easy game against the Terrapins but many others have gotten caught looking ahead and if that happens for the Gophers, their dreams of competing for a Big Ten title might be dead.
What is going on with this Longhorns team?
Longhorns fans so badly for their team to be considered one of the best in college football but it’s hard to be respected when you almost lose to the Kansas Jayhawks. This week they go on the road to take on TCU and if they want people to start believing in this team again they really should beat this team by at least ten points.
They have the offense to do it but if the defense doesn’t step up to the plate it’s going to be another lost season for the Longhorns.
