Lil B agrees to lift curse if Kevin Durant goes to Knicks

In case you didn’t know, “The BasedGod” speaks through Lil B. The rap mogul is just the messenger, carrying out “The BasedGod” wishes so you and I can understand why things are the way they are. In that regard, Lil B is a prophet of sorts.

But even prophets have rooting interests, as Lil B is a New York Knicks fan.

On that subject, it seems his higher power is willing to lift the curse, if soon-to-be-free-agent Kevin Durant signs with the Knicks.

We saw what the curse did to Durant, as the Warriors came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Thunder even when it seemed like the Western Conference Finals was all but over. Still, even with the Knicks recently trading for Derrick Rose, it’s highly unlikely that Durant would play for the Knicks. Not only were they lackluster last season, and still a work in progress, but pairing Durant and Carmelo Anthony does not make sense on paper.

Durant has a long list of suitors, and even though having the curse lifted is a huge selling point, it’s hard to see him going to New York.

Sorry, Lil B.
