You'll have a tough time finding another pregame ceremony that's as powerful and moving as the ceremony that took place prior to the Boston Bruins - Buffalo Sabres game on Wednesday night. The video below probably doesn't give the atmosphere justice, but it's enough to give you chills regardless of where you live or what team you root for.
The pregame began with a moment of silence, paying tribute to those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing and the heroes that rose to the occasion on that tragic day. Following the moment of silence was a short video with images of the tragedy set to "Home" by Phillip Phillips.
When it came to the anthem itself, the crowd was the biggest star. Thousands of voices sang the anthem in unison, booming out each note while holding flags and signs supporting their city and team. There were few dry eyes in the house. A rousing "USA, USA, USA" chant filled the Garden, concluding a memorable, touching ceremony.
