Hockey Fights of the Week: 11/25 – 12/1

It's Monday. The holiday weekend is over and everyone is headed back to work. Don't be depressed. Cheer yourself up with some of the best hockey fights from over the Thanksgiving holiday. While we're at it, let's all give thanks for the great sport of hockey.

5. Tom Sestito (VAN) vs Chris Neil (OTT) – Nov 28

Forcing players to keep their helmet on during a fight seemed like a silly idea, but we jumped on board when we realized how fun it is to watch a player literally punch the helmet off of his opponent. It's awesome! Oh, and the whole potential safety benefits are nice as well.

4. Douglas Murray (MON) vs John Scott (BUF) – Nov 27

Scott isn't a lot of things. He is however an outstanding fighter when the situation calls for it. Here he beats Murray by a large margin, possibly because Murray was blinded by Buffalo's hideous jerseys.

3. Marcus Foligno (BUF) vs Ryan Carter (NJ) – Nov 30

What a final punch by Foligno. We're also thankful that we weren't on the receiving end of that one. Wow.

2. Dalton Prout (CBJ) vs Mark Fraser (TOR) – Nov 25

Prout appeared to give up a little bit too early in this one and Fraser made him pay. Toronto may have won this fight, but the score told a very different story.

1. Jay Rosehill (PHI) vs Krys Barch (FLA) – Nov 25

Barch flew into this fight, eager to settle the score with Rosehill. Despite the fact Rosehill was caught mostly by surprise, he was the one who emerged as the winner. Barch still held his own, but we all expected a bit more from him considering how he initiated the bout.
