Fan asks Jeremy Roenick to punch him in the face

If you saw one of your favorite hockey players, what would you do? Ask for an autograph? Try to make some weak conversation? Ask them to punch you in the face?

If you're these fans who followed Roenick around a golf course, the "punch in the face" option was at the top of the list. According to the description of this YouTube video, the group begged Roenick to punch their friend in the face. Roenick threw a fake punch, but continued on with his golf outing. The group followed him to the 18th hole and asked again. This time Roenick obliged.

The punch wasn't a hard one, but it's a memorable one for the guy who received it. The group hopes to make this a tradition. An odd and slightly painful tradition.

Roenick didn't appear to mind throwing a punch at a fan. Even though his playing days are over, Roenick still seems eager to fight. Back in 2012, Roenick wanted to fight a follower on Twitter. The event was supposed to be for charity, but the whole concept never got off the ground due to legal complications.

Looks like Roenick will have to stick to punching guys who beg for it.
