The official trailer for EA's NHL 14 has finally been released. The latest installment of EA's beloved NHL franchise is scheduled to be released on September 10th in North America on the PS3 and Xbox 360. While we've had some glimpses of the game in previous videos released by EA, this was the trailer used at E3 to show off the game's new features.

It's clear EA is trying to make fighting and hitting more realistic in NHL 14, but is that enough for you to spend $60? It's nice to see yet another push towards a realistic simulation, but it's impossible to ignore the fact that NHL 14 looks like a dated game compared to some of the videos being released of games set to launch with the PS4 and Xbox One. NHL 14 won't be released on these new systems.
