NHL poll calls LA the “Lost” Angeles Kings

After their thrilling 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues in Game 6, the Los Angeles Kings safely advanced into the second round of the playoffs. They joined the Chicago Blackhawks, San Jose Sharks and Ottawa Senators as early qualifiers for the next round.

NHL.com decided to make a poll question asking fans which team they thought had the best shot at hoisting the Cup. There was just one small issue. Instead of writing in the "Los Angeles Kings" as an option, the folks behind the poll called them the "Lost Angeles Kings" instead.

Awesome. The NHL quickly caught their mistake, but not before hockey fans had a nice laugh.

Thanks to Matthew Reid for sending this our way!
