Shield your eyes: Nashville paints their ice yellow

The idea of bringing sunglasses to visit a hockey arena has always seemed like a foolish idea. The Nashville Predators are out to change that notion. The club has painted their ice yellow (they're calling it gold) for the summer. Thanks to some pictures from Meghan Hunter, fan relations coordinator for the Predators, we're given a look at the Bridgestone Arena's bright surface.

Thankfully, the yellow ice is temporary. The team will resort back to their traditional look once training camp begins. While it's interesting seeing a new color on the traditionally white surface, there are just far too many pee jokes to make here. Don't eat the yellow ice, children.
