The Buffalo Sabres have been pretty bad this season. That’s not exactly news, but it may come as a surprise to hockey fans who haven’t been following the team too closely is that the club is on the verge of being historically bad this season. Specifically, the team’s offense may go down as one of the worst in terms of average goals-per-game since 1936.
