Tomas Hertl models his game after Jaromir Jagr for an unlikely reason

Tomas Hertl’s idol Jaromir Jagr has a ton of qualities hockey players try to mimic. From his heavy shot to his work ethic which never seems to quit regardless of his age, Jagr’s skills have produced a career which can be labeled as one of the best in the NHL. Many players have tried to copy Jagr’s style because they want to copy his success, but Hertl has a slightly different answer as to why his game is modeled after the 42-year-old veteran.

Take note, young hockey players. Don’t mimic your game after a star based on their success. Base it off of what they have in the trunk.
