Tyler Seguin was forced to leave the game between the Stars and Panthers after Dmitry Kulikov dropped down to deliver a dangerous hit. As Seguin maneuvered the puck through the neutral zone and into the Florida zone, Kulikov bent over and hip checked Seguin around the knee.

There was really no need for this hit. Kulikov could have easily hit Seguin with a shoulder-to-shoulder hit instead of dropping down on all fours and aiming for Seguin’s legs.
Kulikov was kicked out of the game following this hit and he may be hearing from the NHL for this one. Meanwhile, the Stars have placed Seguin on the IR.
