P.K. Subban fined again for diving

The NHL has once again fined P.K. Subban for diving. Subban collapsed after being hooked a bit during a game against the Ottawa Senators on March 12th and the NHL felt it was worthy of a $3,000 fine.

This most recent fine represents the third time the NHL has had to talk to Subban about diving. The league first warned him for an incident earlier in the year, then fined him $2,000 for a dive on January 29th and they’ve now fined him $3,000. A fourth instance would cost Subban $4,000 and would also mean a fine for head coach Michel Therrien.

Therrien is now on the hot seat as he will be fined if any Montreal skater is reprimanded for diving through the end of the year.
