David is the Managing Editor for Puck Drunk Love and is the owner and founder of the St. Louis Blues blog Frozen Notes. He loves to talk all things puck and loves to connect with other hockey fans on Twitter that share the same passion for the frozen game that he does. Movies are his second passion, creating a love for childhood classics like The Mighty Ducks, Home Alone and Rookie of the Year. When he isn't cheering on the Blues or his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid, David contributes articles to Awful Advertisements and Awful Announcing.
David's work has appeared on Sports Illustrated, Yahoo! Sports, MSN / Fox Sports, The New York Times and on Sirius/XM radio.
A native of St. Louis, MO, Laura has been living in Atlanta, GA since 1993. It was a hockey wasteland, and Laura – a Blues fan from age 8 – got by with newspaper clippings her family sent her about the Blues and a copy of NHL94. In 1999 the Thrashers came to town, and she attended the first game through their very last.
This, coupled with her love of the Blues, drug her into blogging feet first. Laura writes irreverent and occasionally insightful commentary on the St. Louis Blues (and formerly the Atlanta Thrashers) on her own blog, Thrashing the Blues. She contributed to Birdwatchers Anonymous, but more often than not can be found at her home away from home, St. Louis Game Time, where she's the site manager. She is also SB Nation St. Louis' hockey editor, following the Blues on their return to the playoffs.
Jeff is a resident of Long Island, NY and has been a Capitals fan for as long as he can remember. He’s seen many of the greats play in his own backyard at the Nassau Coliseum- Rod Langway, Calle Johansson, Dale Hunter, and Peter Bondra just to name a few. At the age of 20, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a combat medic and never stopped following the sport that was so important to him growing up. In 2009, Jeff moved back to Long Island and currently attends as many hockey games as possible.
Jeff is also a contributor for Capitals Outsider, which covers the offbeat side of the Washington Capitals organization and their fans. He also enjoys talking to other hockey fans from all over the world. When Jeff is not writing about or watching hockey, you can find him at the local bar with some friends cheering for his other favorite teams- the Mets and the Jets.
