Blue Jays fans ask sluggers to play for the Maple Leafs

The Toronto Blue Jays have the hottest and most lethal offense in all of baseball. That offense has been fueled by the long ball as the Blue Jays have hit the most home runs (184 as of August 30th) in Major League Baseball.

As the Blue Jays continue to roll along and dominate opponents, fans in Toronto have another sport in mind.

Below is a sign seen during the most recent Blue Jays game in which some fans asked three of the team’s sluggers – Jose Bautista, Edwin Encarnacion and Josh Donaldson – to come skate for the Maple Leafs.

Can you really blame them? The Blue Jays are arguably the most exciting team in baseball right now and the Maple Leafs are likely going to be scouring for offense again in 2015-16. After trading away Phil Kessel, the likes of Bautista, Encarnacion and Donaldson might not be too shabby.
