Camera operator watches Rangers-Lightning during Mets game

Game 2 between the New York Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lightning stole a lot of attention away from the New York Mets’ regular season game against the St. Louis Cardinals. That includes at least one camera operator who was in charge of taking in the action between the Mets and Cards, but couldn’t help watch the Rangers.

This practice actually isn’t too uncommon. Camera operators with years of experience under their belt may be seen watching other things during pitching changes or between innings. Honestly, can you blame this operator? Regular season Mets vs. playoff hockey is an easy decision.
