Photo: Ice is removed from Nassau Coliseum one last time

The end of a team’s hockey season inevitably results in one of the most depressing scenes: the removal and melting of the ice. Such is the case for the Islanders, but the team removing their ice from the Nassau Coliseum is a bit more emotional as it’ll be the last time the Isles call the rink home.

So long, Coliseum. You had a good run.
