The term “save of the year” is thrown around a lot, but Jake Allen’s robbery on Marko Dano may deserve the label. The puck may have actually been over the line, but like the Braden Holtby situation from the other night, it’s not a goal unless there’s conclusive evidence that the puck is actually over the line inside the glove.
Allen’s big mitt even fooled the Blues announcers.
