Video: Swedish league player unties opponent’s skates, earns a penalty

It is one of the oldest tricks in the book.

“Hey, your shoes are untied.” One of the more satisfying statements to make in any competitive event. For myself, it was most often used while playing basketball and football, but hockey? It would seem like the most difficult to pull off, but Oscar Milton has found a way.

The best part may have been the follow up by the opponent who didn’t take kindly to his laces being undone. I am starting to wonder what would happen in an NHL game – could a decapitation take place? For me, I love seeing these european league games and the odd things that happen during them.
