I’m jumping ahead. In my season previews I always look at lost minutes in relation to what all the other teams in any particular conference lost. Then the transfers and recruits get factored in, and away it goes.
But yesterday Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchirst, Terrance Jones, Doron Lamb and Marquis Teague all announced that they were leaving Kentucky for the NBA. And two other players – Darius Miller and Eloy Vargas – graduated. That leaves Kyle Wiltjer and some walk-ons. And that’s it. (At least transfer Ryan Harrow has been practicing with the team).
So breaking down the lost minutes for Kentucky is opening up previously uncharted waters. There’s nothing to break down. They’re all gone. Regardless, here are some charts to show what the Wildcats have coming back.
