College basketball's overly bureaucratic practice rules were loosened this offseason. Instead of cramming all of the preseason practices into a four-week period with the inevitable help of two-a-days, teams now get 30 practices in the six weeks prior to their first game. For most of college basketball, that means that practice begins tomorrow.
