2014 guard Devonte Graham, who had a long, strange battle to get released from his NLI at Appalachian State (seriously, never sign an NLI kids) but finally opened up his recruitment, had a big season at Brewster Academy (where, ironically, former KU starter Naadir Tharpe went) and narrowed his list to NC State and Kansas before picking the Jayhawks, not as ironically, a day after Tharpe announced his transfer.
Graham ended up the season ranked as the 36th best recruit according to Rivals, and might be in the mix to start right away (though I doubt it). With the class of 2015 looking a bit weak in terms of point guards, however, this was certainly a big get for the Jayhawks, who now appear to be set at that position for at least the next three seasons.
