Lately, Maryland has had some awkward uniforms across all sports. Their red pride football uniforms were, well, something, and they debuted some really ugly yellow baseball uniforms. But their new basketball unis, which they'll wear tomorrow against Notre Dame, takes it to another level:

They look fine at first glance. The numbers and words in the letters is a little weird, but whatever. But that's before taking a closer look at the top of the 3: RAPINS? really? I won't launch into a full scale lecture about how even remotely referencing anything having to do with rape or putting that idea in anyone's head is a bad idea, but suffice it to say this one is a big time facepalm.
I bet Northwestern is happy to have a partner in the worst uniform contest, though.
