Ohio State Sophomore Amedeo Della Valle announced on twitter today that he is going to leave the school to pursue professional basketball in Europe.
Della Valle played just under 12 minutes per game this year for the Buckeyes, though he did emerge as a bit of a weapon off the bench late in the season.
Della Valle is a native of Italy, and as such, Italian teams are rumored to be interested. One specific team, Reggio Emilia, had been linked to Della Valle earlier. Della Valle was the MVP of the Under-20 Eurobasket tournament
