The Rundown: February 11

Hey, there are games tonight that start in like 10 minutes. Let's see what's on the ol' TV.

7 PM

(3) Florida at Tennessee – ESPN

The Gator haven't lost since December 2. That winning streak includes a home win over the Vols 67-41. The Gators held Tennessee to 26.8% shooting, 1 of 19 from 3. UF had 4 in double figures, led by 17 for Michael Frazier. The last time Florida visited Tennessee ranked in the top 10 was … last year. And Tennessee won.

Oklahoma State at (19) Texas – ESPN2

The nation gets it's first look at Oklahoma State without Marcus Smart. There are no good times to lose your best player, but losing him when you've lost 4 straight and 5 of 6 is a really bad time. Texas had a 7 game win streak snapped over the weekend at Kansas State in a game that was never close. The Longhorns have two at home that they should win before going to Iowa State and Kansas. This is a pretty interesting game.

Marquette at Seton Hall – Fox Sports 1

Marquette has alternated wins and losses since winning against Ball State on December 17. They beat Butler a week ago. The streak also includes a 67-66 win over Seton Hall. Seton Hall has alternated wins and losses ever since that loss to Marquette. They lost at Villanova Friday.

Wake Forest at NC State – ESPNU

These teams have headed in opposite directions since Wake beat NC State. The Wolfpack have gone 4-2, winning 4 of 5. Wake has gone 2-4, losing 3 straight.

Clemson at Notre Dame – ESPN3

I watched Clemson play Syracuse Sunday night. Hopefully this game will have more possessions than that one did. Notre Dame's last two home losses have been by double figures. Clemson hasn't scored more than 61 points since they beat Duke on January 11.

Gardner-Webb at Liberty – ESPN3

Gardner-Webb is ok, Liberty is bad. #ExpertAnalysis

8 PM

Southern Illinois at (4) Wichita State

The only game not on TV tonight is one of the most intriguing. The Shockers are on the path for an undefeated regular season. They beat SIU pretty handily in Carbondale 82-67 back on January 2. Cleanthony Early had 23 on 8-11, 2-4 from 3, 5-5 at the line, while Fred VanVleet had 13 on 5-9, 2-4, 5-5, with 7 assists. The Salukis have won 4 straight.

9 PM

(15) Michigan at (22) Ohio State – ESPN

The major question in this one is what Michigan team shows up? Is it going to be the team that won at Nebraska, Wisconsin and Michigan State? Or the one that recently lost at Indiana and Iowa? The win over Wisconsin seems to have righted the Buckeyes. OSU has won 3 straight. This is the only Ohio State-Michigan game of the regular season.

Xavier at Butler – Fox Sports 1

Ole Miss at Alabama – ESPNU

Xavier and Ole Miss probably can't take on bad road losses like they would if they lost tonight.

Utah State at Colorado State – CBS Sports

The Aggies are going for the season sweep. They've been a very streaky team. USU lost 5 straight before their current 2 game win streak. Colorado State has also won two in a row. One streak will die.

11 PM

(5) San Diego State at Wyoming – ESPNU

This is not the best time for the reeling Cowboys to take on one of the best teams in the nation. The fact I used the word reeling to describe them should attest to that. Wyoming has dropped two straight, although by a total of 7 points, and 3 of 4. This is the only time the teams will meet in the regular season. The Aztecs last couple of road games have been an adventure. They needed a 3 late to beat Boise State and Utah State took them into overtime. This could be a fun one.
