Welcome to the rundown, where we rundown the night's college basketball action. Let's get right to it with tonight's busy slate.
7 PM
Miami at (12) Virginia – ESPN3
The Cavaliers have won 11 in a row as they take on ACC minnow Miami. Losing tonight would take a little luster off the gigantic league title game on Saturday afternoon against Syracuse.
(16) Michigan at Purdue – Big 10 Network
The Wolverines are in the Big 10 driver's seat with a 1 game lead over Michigan State. Iowa is not in position to win the league. The Wolverines topped Purdue 75-66 in late January. Caris LeVert had a 14-11 double double. Glenn Robinson III had 16 and Nik Stauskas had 14.
8 PM
Butler at (8) Villanova – Fox Sports 1
Villanova tries to keep pace with Creighton atop the Big East by going for the season sweep Butler. The first meeting went into overtime. JayVaughn Pinkston had 22 points and James Bell 15. Kellen Dunham had 22 and Elijah Brown 19 for Butler.
West Virginia at (15) Iowa State – ESPN3
On February 10, West Virginia beat the hell out of Iowa State by 25 points. The Cyclones have won 3 in a row since then while WVU has lot their last two, giving up 88 points both times.
(19) North Carolina at NC State – ESPN3
The hot Tar Heels look to move their win streak to to 10 while picking up a sweep of the Wolfpack. Carolina rolled in the first meeting behind 20 from Leslie McDonald and 16-13-4 assists from James Michael McAdoo.
9 PM
Cal at (3) Arizona – ESPN2
The Wildcats are looking for revenge from their first loss of the season at Cal. The Bears haven't exactly been impressive since then, going 3-2 with losses to the two best teams that they played. This is a killer closing stretch for the Bears.
Baylor at (24) Texas – ESPNU
The Longhorns and Bears have been trending in opposite directions. Baylor has won 4 in a row, Texas has lost two in a row and 3 of 5. The first meeting happened when Baylor was on their losing streak and Texas was on their winning streak. This would be a big one for the Bears tournament hopes.
