Burish out 4-6 weeks with a broken hand

Bad news continues to come down for the Stars as they learned today that Adam Burish is going to miss 4-6 weeks with a broken hand. Burish suffered the injury late in the third period when he got hit with a Brenden Morrow shot. He immediately went down to the ice and into the locker room after the play.

This makes the second Stars player to be lost for a month with an injured hand. Alex Goligoski broke his thumb, also on a blocked shot, and will miss a month as well.

Burish also was injured last season and missed a large stretch from February 3 to February 24 with a broken orbital bone. In that stretch, the Stars went 1-6-2 and severely put themselves behind in the playoff race.
