Dugout Digest – blockbuster

After a kind of slow offseason with no major trades, of course we've had two this week. After the Myers/Shields/Davis swap between the Royals and Rays on Sunday night, we had another trade on Tuesday evening between the Reds, Indians, and Diamondbacks, with the Reds acquiring Shin-Soo Choo, the Indians acquiring Trevor Bauer, and the Diamondbacks picking up Didi Gregorius.

Also over the past couple of days, the Yankees finally inked Kevin Youkilis, the Twins nonsensically signed Kevin Correia, the Pirates brought back Jason Grilli, the Durham Bulls are offering Wil Myers ticket packages, the Mets have no idea how to value RA Dickey, and the Royals might not be as good in 2013 as you'd think.

Enjoy your offseason, everyone.
