The NFL, sometimes classified as the No Fun League, doesn’t want players celebrating touchdowns with an odd definition of what it considers over the top.
One might call what the NFL wants from its players…robotic.
That’s exactly what Cleveland Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins gave the NFL Sunday after scoring a touchdown against the New England Patriots:

Beautiful, really.
The NFL won’t fine Hawkins for this one. Well, it doesn’t seem likely, at least. Let’s see if the league office can handle a little funny shade thrown its way.
It’s good to see players can still find a funny way to celebrate given the weird circumstances with flags and fines right now (two pumps vs. three pumps, anyone?).
Hawkins has set the bar for others to match. Let the non-fineable competition begin.
