Ben Roethlisberger exits game with knee injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers were expected to coast to victory on Sunday in their game against the Dolphins, but that wasn’t the case. Furthermore, they suffered a big loss when quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left the game in the second quarter due to injury.

Roethlisberger was hit multiple times during the game, as the Steelers offensive line struggled to protect him. He threw an interception midway through the second quarter, and came up limping afterward, clearly bothered by an ankle injury. He was taken to the locker room for further examination, and the official announcement is a left knee injury.

His return to the game is questionable, according to the team.

Roethlisberger was replaced by Landry Jones.
