Cole Beasley sends profane tweet to fan

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley has quietly been one of Tony Romo’s most reliable targets as the quarterback’s safety valve, but he struggled immensely in Sunday’s game against the Jaguars in London. He caught only one 11-yard pass in the 31-17 victory, but fumbled at the end of the play (pictured above).

It wasn’t a banner day for the slot receiver, but even the most dominant performers have bad games. And instead of shaking it off and putting the poor performance behind him—like most athletes do—he took to Twitter to interact with fans who verbally attacked him after the fumble. Beasley was set on defending his reputation, as he rarely turns the ball over.

And that’s exactly what he did, as he sent a message to the “haters”.

When one Twitter user told him to hold onto the ball, Beasley lost it. The Cowboys receiver told the football fan to “eat a d***”.

Fellow receiver Terrance Williams then came to his aid and sent a tweet about “Twitter thugs”, which Beasley retweeted.

Beasley sure didn’t hold back there. Maybe he was upset about his performance in the game, or maybe he’s just homesick. The Cowboys are scheduled to fly home from London tomorrow as the team begins its bye week.
