There’s no love lost between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants, so it really wasn’t a surprise when benches cleared during the teams’ most recent meeting on Monday night.
It happened when Madison Bumgarner got Yasiel Puig to ground out to end the seventh inning. The Giants pitcher probably rubbed it in a bit as he walked back to the dugout, and that didn’t go over well.
Bumgarner and Puig then had some words, and it wasn’t long before a shoving match erupted. Benches cleared, and the bullpens quickly emptied. Brandon Belt was the MVP, though, as he probably ensured things didn’t get worse by grabbing Puig and holding him back.
Nevermind watching that entire video, though. A far more efficient use of your time would be to listen to Vin Scully narrate the skirmish.
Vin Scully's description of the Puig-Bumgarner dust-up was more entertaining than the actual dust-up. pic.twitter.com/tU5LgiNc9I

Puig and Bumgarner clearly still don’t like each other, and Scully is still pretty awesome.
