Golden Tate scores TD, celebrates by becoming a cheerleader

The NFL might not like it, but Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate knows how to celebrate a touchdown.

Tate scored a critical touchdown in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams. Rather than risk a flag by flirting with the NFL’s stricter celebration rules, Tate took the festivities to the sidelines and joined the cheerleaders.

This is a nice change of events for Tate, who found himself in hot water two weeks before after a wrong route led to an interception in an eventual loss.

Now back in good graces, all folks have to wait to hear about is how the NFL reacts to his celebration.
