NBA summer league action tends to be more entertaining than many would be lead to believe. It’s a place where young players can show off a bit and showboat here and there.
But it’s also a stage for embarrassing plays, which is to be expected as the young players earn their stripes get more playing time under their belt.
Rookie shooting guard Patrick McCaw was the most recent player to be featured in an “epic fail” moment, when he attempted a dunk and got rejected by the rim.
James Harden, who was in attendance for the game, thought it was pretty damn funny. So did teammate Patrick Beverley.
