Jeff Teague is living in his parents’ basement

There’s no shame in living with your parents. Just ask Jeff Teague.

The Indiana Pacers point guard decided to move in with his parents after being traded from Atlanta earlier this month.

“I bought a home here some years back, and when I re-signed back with Atlanta [in 2013] I just decided I was going to live in Atlanta and just gave the house to my mom and dad,” Teague explained to WNDE-AM 1260. “Now I’m going to live back in my old house with my mom and dad.”

Teague, who is from Indiana, will make $8 million next season. Surely he has enough money to find his own place, but home is where the heart is, and the 28-year-old says he’ll be living in the basement.

It’ll be interesting to see if living at home helps his game, though he might have to ask if he can have friends over.
