John Cena blasts Roger Goodell in ESPYS opening

WWE superstar John Cena is known for being dominant in the ring, but he’s much more intelligent and savvy than many would think.

Cena has begun branching out his career to work on life outside of wrestling, landing TV and movie gigs along the way. And he was given a pretty big honor on Wednesday night: hosting the ESPY Awards.

Cena came out swinging right from the get-go, destroying NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in the opening monologue. He compared the commish to Vince McMahon, and somehow liked the NFL to wrestling, which, well, whatever.

No matter where he is, Cena seems to steal the spotlight, and understandably so.
