Kobe Bryant mask worn during game worth $50K?

We all remember when former NBA star Kobe Bryant got fouled hard in the 2012 All-Star game by Dwyane Wade, which, at the time, had many questioning if there was intent or not.

It’s pretty clear there wasn’t, and that it was just an unfortunate happenstance. Also unfortunate was that the contact broke Bryant’s nose, which you can watch in the video below.

Bryant went on to wear a protective mask in games (a la Richard Hamilton) over the next few weeks, sporting both a clear one and a black one.

The good news is that you can purchase the clear one, if you’re so inclined. But it’s not going to come cheap!

According to TMZ Sports, Goldin Auctions put the mask up for sale on Monday, and it could net $50K.

Kobe fans don’t mess around. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the mask gets that, or more, even.
