Lakers’ Nick Young wants Chris Brown the heck out of his neighborhood

Nick Young of the Los Angeles Lakers has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons as of late.

This time? He’s sick and tired of living near rapper/singer Chris Brown, who was involved in an incident with the police Tuesday.

OTN captured the funny video:

Complex transcribed the offering:

Chris Brown, you gotta move, man. Go on, get away from over here, please. You’re making the block hot, buddy. You’re my friend and all but you gotta go. [They] got SWAT teams and helicopters flying over my head [and] I’m thinking they’re after me. We only have about five or six black people over here anyway…They’re going to take me [and] you. They’re gonna cut us short, I don’t wanna get cut short from over here, man. There’s really only two of us over here, man. And at this rate, you’re gonna make it one.

So please, I like you man, you my dawg. We go out, but you need to go out away from over here. Go! Other than that I love you, man, but peace!

Without going into too much detail, Brown had a lengthy standoff with the police yesterday, indeed involving a SWAT team. He says he’s the victim, though the situation did end in his arrest.

Young, of course, was in the headlines recently for the whole Iggy Azalea fiasco recorded by a teammate. The engagement ended, leaving Young to focus on basketball.

That might be a problem, with his being 31 years old and the Lakers undergoing a youth movement. He’s deep on a depth chart behind guys like Jordan Clarkson and Brandon Ingram, with his contract looking costly should the front office want to clear up more space.

Alas, of course the guy named Swaggy P would live on the same block as Chris Brown.
