Heat F LeBron James left Game 1 of the NBA Finals and had to be carried off the court due to cramping. And the Internet has since exploded with commentary.
The Twitterverse, in particular, has been blowing up with tweets from celebrities, athletes and fans. One of them was this particular talking head, who of course piled on like he’s been known to do. He’s now coined the “LeCramp” nickname.
There is NO WAY the Spurs play this poorly in Sunday night’s Game 2 — I don’t care if LeCramp plays all 48 minutes.

But for most of us sports fans who can think for ourselves and form our own opinions, nothing that comes out of Bayless’ mouth matters. So we look the other way and ignore the incessant trolling.
However, a few athletes have weighed in as well—49ers OT Jonathan Martin and Bucks G Brandon Jennings to name a few. Which is odd, because both have had issues of their own to deal with. Martin is still dealing with the embarrassment from the impasse with former Dolphins teammate Richie Incognito, and Jennings may have attempted to slip Nick Young a pill in the club last weekend.
So they both voiced their opinions. Jennings took an indirect approach, but he was likely taking a shot at James’ toughness. (Update: Jennings has since deleted his Twitter account, but here is the text version of the tweet.)
Oh so the AC is the problem. The Spurs was playing also. Just saying

And Martin, who has since deleted his tweet (which NY Posts’ Bart Hubbuch captured), took a more direct approach.
James is the most polarizing figure in sports right now. Fans and athletes alike either like him—or vehemently root against him.
We leave you with this gem. Props to Gatorade’s social media manager for this clever tweet.
@ryanbkoo The person cramping wasn’t our client. Our athletes can take the heat.
