Photos: Johnny Manziel, Justin Gilbert Hang Out in Clubhouse Before Indians-Red Sox Game

Browns QB Johnny Manziel may not have played a down in the NFL yet, but he’s already starting to become acclimated with all things Cleveland.

And during Wednesday’s Indians-Red Sox game, he was invited to come out and throw the first pitch during the 40th anniversary of “10-cent Beer Night.” Unfortunately, a rain delay delayed the start of the big event, which was originally supposed to take place at 7:05 p.m. ET, but was pushed back to 9:30 p.m. ET. And, as a result, he did not throw out the first pitch.

He did, however, hang out in the clubhouse before the game, and the Indians’ TribeVibe blog posted some photos for your viewing pleasure. The photo at the top of the article is of Manziel in the cage with Indians P Josh Tomlin and Browns CB Justin Gilbert. Here are a few more.

Of course he busted out his new signature move—the money posejust before the game began (photo via SBD’s Adam Stern).

And yes, he snapped a photo with Indians’ mascot, Slider.

Manziel was selected by the Browns with the 22nd overall pick in this year’s draft. While HC Mike Pettine is still sticking with QB Brian Hoyer as the current starter at the present time, it’ll be a very interesting battle to watch in training camp.

And hey, maybe it’s fitting that he was supposed to throw out a first pitch in an Indians game. Or at least he thinks so.

It is yet to be determined as to whether or not he will throw out a first pitch in a future Indians game. Both the Red Sox and Indians are off tomorrow for travel days.
